Williamstown Food Pantry - December 2025 Donation Delivered. Last week, the co-op met with longtime Williamstown Food Pantry volunteers to deliver a check for $1,822.52, the full amount raised through our December Every Penny Counts Program. We’re grateful to our shoppers for rounding up and to the pantry’s dedicated volunteers for their ongoing service to local families. Habitat for Humanity Holiday Trees
The Northern Berkshire Habitat for Humanity Holiday Trees Showcase at the First Congregational Church in Williamstown, MA is a festive community event that combines creativity with charitable giving. For just $10, participants can purchase a holiday tree at the Wild Oats Market service desk, decorate it with their own unique style, and return it for display during the showcase on Saturday, December 6. All proceeds benefit Northern Berkshire Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit dedicated to building affordable homes for local families. Wild Oats Market is proud to contribute a tree designed by Julia Dixon and inspired by Grandma Moses, celebrating local folk art, farms, family, and community traditions. Thanks to YOU, our Wild Oats Market co‑op shoppers, the Every Penny Counts program raised $1,655.75 in October to support Berkshire Community Action Council’s Elf/Children’s Warm Clothing Program.
That means it will help them work towards meeting the over 1,000 local kids needs in North County to be cozy this winter with brand‑new coats, boots, and accessories - all at no cost to families in need.

Step into a season of imagination with handcrafted scarecrows made by local youth at the Williamstown Youth Center using upcycled materials and boundless imagination. As part of Wild Smoke 2025 celebration, these whimsical characters are now on display at the co-op and photo spots around town. Take a day to explore, snap a photo, and share your adventure - showcasing the creativity of our local kids and the spirit of fall. A Sweet Success Thanks to Our Community
We’re delighted to share the results of our recent Ice Cream Social in support of the Williamstown Youth Center. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to deliver a check for over $600 to the Youth Center last week.
This event was more than just a fundraiser, it marked the beginning of a new collaboration. We’ve launched a scarecrow-making activity with the Youth Center, and these imaginative creations will be on display at the co-op during the upcoming Wild Smoke 2025 celebration.
Fresh Summer Sizzle Giveaway Panini Making Package
Meet Niku, the winner of Wild Oats Market’s Fresh Summer Sizzle Giveaway! A PhD student at Washington University in St. Louis studying Earth, Environmental & Planetary Sciences, Niku has been passionate about fresh, homemade food since childhood. Raised without fast food ads and introduced to cooking at age two, she continues to garden, bake, and prepare meals from scratch.
