Delivered the big check, ensuring warmth and care for our community.

Thanks to YOU, our Wild Oats Market co‑op shoppers, the Every Penny Counts program raised $1,655.75 in October to support Berkshire Community Action Council’s Elf/Children’s Warm Clothing Program.

That means it will help them work towards meeting the over 1,000 local kids needs in North County to be cozy this winter with brand‑new coats, boots, and accessories - all at no cost to families in need.

Meet Niku, the winner of Wild Oats Market’s Fresh Summer Sizzle Giveaway! A PhD student at Washington University in St. Louis studying Earth, Environmental & Planetary Sciences, Niku has been passionate about fresh, homemade food since childhood. Raised without fast food ads and introduced to cooking at age two, she continues to garden, bake, and prepare meals from scratch. Congratulations to Cathy Talarico—our “Picnic for Two” Giveaway winner. This longtime co-op Member-Owner picked up her prize just in time for an outdoor concert at The Clark.

Cathy, a proud Member-Owner since 1990, shared her thoughts on the experience: “I’m so pleased to see Wild Oats continue to support local farmers and producers. It is a wonderful community resource, and I’m proud to be a member-owner.”

Her summer-ready haul included creamy Holyoke Hummus, Black Cat Figs, prosciutto, mozzarella, and shortbread worth savoring.
