Wild Smoke 2025 is our community thank-you party hosted by the co-op at 320 Main Street in Williamstown, MA. This free event is our way of celebrating with YOU! Featuring a pasture-raised pig from Valiant Farmstead, cooked by our very own Meat Manager Rick, plus live acoustic music from Unken Brew and craft beer tastings from Progression Brewing Company. Come enjoy bold flavors, local sounds, and good company while the food lasts.
Join the fun as we honor our community, firing up the flavor & celebrating YOU with local flair! Come enjoy N.C. style whole hog BBQ, smoked chicken, house-made potato salad, macaroni & cheese, coleslaw, baked beans & more with plenty of neighborly vibes.
Beer Tasting: Progression Brewing Company
Everyone 21+ can raise a sample tasting to creativity and connection with Progression Brewing Company, based in Northampton, MA. Their bold, flavorful beers are crafted with care and a spirit of innovation, all rooted in their mantra: “Life is a Progression. Enjoy the Journey.” Sample their lineup at Wild Smoke and discover why we’re proud to pour their brews on our shelves, and into your glass.
Live Music: Unken Brew
Get ready to tap your toes and sway to the sounds of Unken Brew, a soulful acoustic trio steeped in bluegrass, folk, and Americana. With rich harmonies and stories that sing, David, Bruce, and Sam bring decades of musical camaraderie to the stage, creating a joyful, down-home vibe that’s perfect for a Wild Smoke afternoon.
Pig Supplier: Valiant Farmstead
Straight from the pastures of Stephentown, NY, Valiant Farmstead is supplying the star of our Wild Smoke Community Celebration - a pasture and forest raised heritage breed pig. Our very own Meat Manager Rick will be working his smoky magic, and serving up mouthwatering bites that honor local farming and bold flavor. It’s a feast with heart, and we’re proud to partner with Valiant for this delicious tribute to community and craft.
Fresh from Our Kitchen: House-Made Goodness You Can Taste
Every bite of our potato salad, mac & cheese, coleslaw, and baked beans is crafted right here in the Wild Oats kitchen - made fresh with care, flavor, and a whole lot of co-op pride. These house-made favorites reflect our commitment to quality ingredients & bold, comforting taste.
