Berkshire Community Action Council (BCAC)
Delivered the big check, ensuring warmth and care for our community.
Wild Oats Market is thrilled to share that thanks to the generosity of our co‑op shoppers, the Every Penny Counts program raised $1,655.75 in October to support Berkshire Community Action Council’s Elf/Children’s Warm Clothing Program in North County.
This program provides new winter coats, boots, and accessories at no cost to children ages 12 and under from limited‑income households in Northern Berkshire County. With the need now exceeding 1,000 children, your contributions are working towards ensuring that every child can step into winter bundled up, warm, and cared for.

Beyond the Warm Clothing Program, BCAC also supports families and seniors with fuel assistance, emergency assistance, senior baskets filled with household staples, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and more, stretching limited funds to meet growing needs.
We are deeply grateful to our co‑op community for making this possible. Together, we are delivering warmth, bundled up with love.
