Strengthening Local Farms Through Community Support
Wild Oats Market is proud to partner with Berkshire Agricultural Ventures (BAV) - a nonprofit dedicated to supporting local farmers, expanding food access, and building a resilient regional food system.
Thanks to our shoppers, Every Penny Counts truly lived up to its name. Together, we raised $2,277.49 for BAV to strengthen local farms and increase access to fresh, local food across the Berkshires in March 2026.
BAV also recently received two federal USDA grants to help connect Berkshire-area farmers with institutions including local schools, colleges, hospitals, and correctional facilities. These investments are major steps toward a stronger, more sustainable regional food system.
Meet Argyle Cheese Farmer
Meet Argyle Cheese Farmer and celebrate Dairy Month with a local A2 cheese tasting at Wild Oats Market on June 19 from 9 AM–1 PM. Sample handcrafted A2 cheeses - including Mercy, General Burgoyne, Grace, and Buffalo Wing Cheese Curds - while learning about perfect pairings like berries, honey, chocolate, and sparkling drinks. A representative from Argyle Cheese Farmer will be on site to share insights into their farm‑to‑table process, A2 milk benefits, and their long‑standing commitment to local dairy. Meet Elkano Imports
Elkano Imports brings the rich culinary tradition of Spanish extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) directly from Córdoba, Spain, to Wild Oats Market. Produced by a cooperative of nearly 1,000 small family farmers, this vibrant, aromatic olive oil is pressed at peak freshness for exceptional flavor and versatility - perfect for salads, sautéing, finishing dishes, or baking. Both 250ml and 500ml bottles are now available at Wild Oats Market in Williamstown, MA, with an in‑store tasting event featuring the Elkano team.

Get Your Knives and Tools Sharpened: E & M Knife Sharpening Returns to Wild Oats Market! E & M Knife Sharpening will be at Wild Oats Market on Friday, June 19 from 3–6 PM (weather permitting) offering on‑site sharpening for knives, scissors, garden tools, hobby tools, and more. New refrigeration units for meat, seafood, cheese, beer, wine, and grab‑and‑go are now being installed. These upgrades will improve energy efficiency, product quality, and your overall shopping experience. We appreciate your patience as we work through this important store improvement.

Goodwill Bringing Food To Our Communities - Wild Oats Market Strengthens Local Farms with Goodwill’s Food Delivery Truck
Your spare change can make a big difference at checkout. When you round up for the Fighting Hunger in the Berkshires Initiative, your donation supports Goodwill Industries of the Berkshires and Southern Vermont, Inc. in their effort to pay for a delivery truck that will bring food directly to local pantries. This truck will help distribute up to 9,000 pounds of food in every run, ensuring that our neighbors across Northern Berkshire County don’t go to bed hungry. These donations will go towards deliveries in Northern Berkshires.
