Scarecrow Stars You’ll Meet
Each scarecrow is a labor of love from our local WYC Williamstown Youth Center, created by local youth using upcycled materials and boundless imagination:
Samantha & Little Jim Bob (by Ivy and Luka):
A romantic duo power couple with a cinematic love story. From a coffee shop meet-cute in California to a Statue of Liberty proposal and a Hawaiian wedding, their journey ends in Puerto Rico with a baby on the way. Their scarecrow selves beam with joy and anticipation. Stop by the garden patio at Wild Oats Market to take a pic with the scarecrow husband and wife.
Gloria (by Mara):
A tribute to resilience. Born with a disability, Gloria found comfort and companionship in her bunny - disabled and missing a leg. Their bond, forged through a shared accident, makes them immortal in spirit and in straw. A resilient soul and her bunny companion, both overcoming disability with grace and grit. Get your photo by the entry area at WYC Williamstown Youth Center.
Lily (by Athena and Monroe):
A floral dream comes to life - gentle, fragrant, and blooming with charm. She radiates peace and quiet strength, a graceful presence that softens the season with every petal. Standing proudly by the Wild Oats Market sign to invite the community to the coop!
Feathers (by Joy and Charlotte):
A vibrant burst of chaos, and creativity. Splashed with paint and full of personality, this scarecrow embraces the beauty of imperfection, a joyful tribute to fearless self-expression. Stop by the bike rack to snap a photo with Feathers at Wild Oats Market.
Greenie (by Violet, Louisa, Hazel, Tyler and Rosie):
A leafy champion of sustainability, proudly dressed in repurposed greens and garden scraps. With the quirky hamburger dog by their side, this eco-friendly duo proves that fall fun can be waste-free and wonderfully creative. Visit Spring Street’s Williamstown Community Chest for a photo Opp with Greenie!
Marigold (by Vivian, Rebecca, Katherine and June):
A stunning Día de los Muertos tribute with a flair for mystery. Draped in haunting beauty, she keeps most visitors at bay, but beneath the disguise lies a warm heart and a love for celebration. Her pet lion adds a bold twist to this festive guardian of fall. Stand on guard by the new EV charging station locations at Wild Oats Market.
Love (by Will):
A quiet, heartfelt creation that speaks volumes through simplicity. With clean lines and gentle details, this minimalist scarecrow is stitched with care and sincerity, a subtle tribute to the warmth that binds us all. Find Love at the Milne Library for a photo opp.
Scary (by Madiba):
A hauntingly creative scarecrow that blends eerie charm with unexpected softness. Adorned with feathers and flowers, this spooky sentinel watches over the field with quiet intensity, and a curious companion named Sheep, the loyal pet. It's a striking mix of fright and whimsy that keeps you guessing. Scary is standing guard in the garden patio by the stop sign at Wild Oats Market for you to get your photo.
Show Fright (by Elenor and Aubriella):
A theatrical scarecrow with a storybook twist. Dressed in a bonnet and fall dress, she wears an apple necklace and is joined by her stuffed animal pet. More charming than chilling, she brings a playful dose of drama to the harvest season. Waving you into the parking lot at Wild Oats Market co-op ready to take fun photos with you.
