Goodwill Bringing Food To Our Communities - Wild Oats Market Strengthens Local Farms with Goodwill’s Food Delivery Truck
Your spare change can make a big difference at checkout. When you round up for the Fighting Hunger in the Berkshires Initiative, your donation supports Goodwill Industries of the Berkshires and Southern Vermont, Inc. in their effort to pay for a delivery truck that will bring food directly to local pantries. This truck will help distribute up to 9,000 pounds of food in every run, ensuring that our neighbors across Northern Berkshire County don’t go to bed hungry. These donations will go towards deliveries in Northern Berkshires.

Calling all kids twelve and under! Visit the co-op service desk to join our exciting coloring contests. Ask our friendly cashiers for details. Create your artwork and drop it off at the co-op by the deadline for a chance to win a bag of Field Day Products Goodies from Wild Oats Market.
Hoosac Harvest
February 2026 Every Penny Counts Recipient
The co-op is excited to support Hoosac Harvest, an all‑volunteer program that helps Northern Berkshire residents access fresh, locally grown food through subsidized CSA shares. Your contribution ensures partner farms are paid in full and makes healthy, sustainable food affordable for families in our community.
Williamstown Food Pantry
Williamstown Food Pantry - December 2025 Donation Delivered. Last week, the co-op met with longtime Williamstown Food Pantry volunteers to deliver a check for $1,822.52, the full amount raised through our December Every Penny Counts Program. We’re grateful to our shoppers for rounding up and to the pantry’s dedicated volunteers for their ongoing service to local families. This season, the co-op is proud to continue the tradition of helping to feed those in need. From Nov 28 to Dec 19, you can donate half the price of a meal at checkout to help us deliver holiday dinners (turkey or ham, sides and dessert) to local families through our partnership with the Williamstown Food Pantry and Police Department.

Berkshire Community Action Council (BCAC)
Delivered the big check, ensuring warmth and care for our community.
Thanks to YOU, our Wild Oats Market co‑op shoppers, the Every Penny Counts program raised $1,655.75 in October to support Berkshire Community Action Council’s Elf/Children’s Warm Clothing Program.
That means it will help them work towards meeting the over 1,000 local kids needs in North County to be cozy this winter with brand‑new coats, boots, and accessories - all at no cost to families in need.

Fall Community Spirit is Alive Making Scarecrow Stories Come To Life! Step into a season of imagination with handcrafted scarecrows made by local youth at the Williamstown Youth Center using upcycled materials and boundless imagination. As part of Wild Smoke 2025 celebration, these whimsical characters are now on display at the co-op and photo spots around town. Take a day to explore, snap a photo, and share your adventure - showcasing the creativity of our local kids and the spirit of fall. Every scarecrow has a story, and every visitor becomes part of the tale.

A Sweet Success Thanks to Our Community
We’re delighted to share the results of our recent Ice Cream Social in support of the Williamstown Youth Center. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to deliver a check for over $600 to the Youth Center last week.
This event was more than just a fundraiser, it marked the beginning of a new collaboration. We’ve launched a scarecrow-making activity with the Youth Center, and these imaginative creations will be on display at the co-op during the upcoming Wild Smoke 2025 celebration.
