Every Penny Counts: AL Nelson Friendship Center Food Pantry May Donations are Delivered
This past week, a check for $2,902.59 - the total raised through Wild Oats Market shoppers’ generous donations during the May 2026 Every Penny Counts program - was delivered. Every round up, every penny, and every act of kindness from this community made it possible.
These funds directly support the Al Nelson Friendship Center Food Pantry, a vital resource serving hundreds of Northern Berkshire families each week. Your contributions help ensure that neighbors across Northern Berkshire County have reliable access to the food they need and deserve.

The Pantry is seeing increased demand & they’re looking for helping hands.
Especially on Wednesdays and Thursdays, volunteers are needed to assist with food pickup, delivery for neighbors who can’t travel, and other essential support.
Small Change. Big Impact.
Working together truly strengthens our community.
At Wild Oats Market, we take great pride in nurturing and strengthening our community. Partnering with the Friendship Center allows us to deepen that commitment in meaningful, lasting ways. Thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and your continued partnership. Together, we’re making a real difference.
Thank you for helping us support our neighbors.
