We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Richard and his daughter, Lisa, emerged victorious in our Pi Day event! Lisa’s motivation led them to purchase the tickets, all in support of the Louison House. She diligently filled out all the slips, and their dedication paid off!
Their pie of choice, a decadent chocolate cream pie, was delivered to him and his daughter Lisa, and her friend, Anna, at Wild Oats Market (photo featured here). But wait, there’s more! Lisa, being the true pie connoisseur she is, highly recommends our Peanut Butter Pie—a delightful treat for any pie enthusiast!
And here’s a little secret: you can special order pies! If you’re craving a specific flavor or want to surprise someone with a delectable pie, simply give our prepared foods bakery department a call. They’ll be happy to provide all the delicious details!

The Pie-Throwing Fun
Our amazing boss, Netse, took one for the team—literally! Armed with pies and a contagious smile, Netse braved the whipped cream storm. But that’s not all! Teammates Josh, along with his daughter Tahnee, and AJ joined the fun. Their mission? To launch pies at Netse, our fearless GM. The result? A delightful mess and a whole lot of laughter!

Supporting Louison House
Why all this pie-throwing madness, you ask? Well, it’s all for a good cause! The Pi Day Charity Pie Throwing event supports Louison House this year, an organization close to our hearts. Louison House tirelessly assists our neighbors experiencing homelessness and housing instability. By participating in this event, we’re not only flinging pies but also flinging hope and support.
What Is Pi Day, Anyway?
Pi Day falls on March 14th (3/14), representing the first three digits of the mathematical constant π (pi). It’s a day to celebrate all things circular, mathematical, and—of course—pie-related! Whether you’re a math enthusiast or just a fan of flaky crusts, Pi Day is a delightful excuse to indulge in both.
