Round Up For CCB In October
Please join us in supporting Child Care of the Berkshires, Inc. in October by rounding up your total purchase at checkout.
Its mission is to strengthen families through the provision of high-quality child care, education, support services and advocacy.
CCB currently runs the following programs:
ParentChild+, a literacy-based home-visiting program for families with two and three year-old children
Parenting Partnership -a parent education home-visiting program for families involved with DCF
The Family Center, which offers playgroups, StoryWalks™, literacy programs, parent education, a children’s clothing exchange and parent support
Healthy Families, a home visiting program for young parents
The Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention and Education program
Monument Square Early Childhood Center in North Adams and Norman Rockwell Early Childhood Center in Pittsfield
A network of 15 family child care homes
CCB believes that parents have the most important and influential role as their child’s first teacher and should be supported in that role. Its vision is that all parents are given the support they need in order to best nurture their children so that the children develop physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively in safe and nurturing environments.
The money raised through Round Up For Change this month will support early literacy efforts in home visiting, child care and Family Center programs, supporting parents as their children’s first teacher and encouraging early literacy through play and interactive reading.
