Meet Niku, the winner of Wild Oats Market’s Fresh Summer Sizzle Giveaway! A PhD student at Washington University in St. Louis studying Earth, Environmental & Planetary Sciences, Niku has been passionate about fresh, homemade food since childhood. Raised without fast food ads and introduced to cooking at age two, she continues to garden, bake, and prepare meals from scratch. Wild Smoke 2025 is our community thank-you party hosted by Wild Oats Market at 320 Main Street in Williamstown, MA, on Saturday, October 18th from 1–4 PM (rain date: Sunday, October 19th, same time). This free event is our way of celebrating with you! Featuring a pasture-raised pig from Valiant Home & Farmstead, cooked by our very own Meat Manager Rick, plus live acoustic music from Unken Brew and craft beer tastings from Progression Brewing Company. Come enjoy bold flavors, local sounds, and good company while the food lasts.

Cathy, a proud Member-Owner since 1990, shared her thoughts on the experience: “I’m so pleased to see Wild Oats continue to support local farmers and producers. It is a wonderful community resource, and I’m proud to be a member-owner.”
