Name Change Anniversary

Our co-op is celebrating our 40th anniversary this year, but did you know that our original name in 1982 was the Central Williamstown Food Co-Op?

That name was officially changed to Wild Oats on this date in 1991 as a result of a contest to rename the store.

Although we are still confused with the natural foods chain of the same name, we have always been one single independent community-owned grocery store.
