Kevin’s Kimchi Bratwurst & Alpine Cheese Sub Recipe

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Place bratwursts on an oven tray with a rack.

  • Add 1/4 inch of water to the bottom of the tray.

  • Steam in the oven for about 40 minutes (until internal temp reaches 165°F), turning over at the 20-minute mark.

  • Remove the rind with the writing from the alpine cheese and slice the cheese for topping the sub.

  • Remove bratwursts from the oven & place each on a bun.

  • Top with kimchi and alpine cheese slices.

  • Place back in the oven for (10 minutes) until cheese is melted.

  • Remove from oven, rest for 5 minutes, and enjoy!
