An Employee Has Tested Positive

This morning our staff and Board of Directors were notified that a member of our Grocery team has tested positive for COVID-19. The employee last worked in the store on Monday, following all established safety guidelines during that shift, and upon experiencing possible symptoms on Tuesday morning chose to get tested and enter quarantine. We will continue to monitor this situation in close coordination with our local health inspector, Jeff Kennedy, and take all appropriate actions as directed by the latest CDC guidelines.

The current 25% capacity limit for retail stores, and many other longstanding workplace protocols we have followed for months, are already in place to keep our staff and customers safe in situations like this, but it's an excellent reminder this virus continues to be a constant daily presence in all of our lives. As always, we ask our shoppers to please follow all possible precautions for entering public spaces like ours, such as shopping alone, wearing a mask, practicing social distancing, making use of the many hand sanitizer stations around the store and taking advantage of our weekday curbside pickup option.
