A Member Of Our Team Has Tested Positive

Yesterday a member of our front end staff notified management of a positive test result for COVID-19. This teammate last worked in the store on Wednesday, following all established safety guidelines during that shift, and pursued testing after learning a member of the household tested positive.

Unlike our previous positive case, no other teammates qualify as close contacts according to CDC protocols, so we do not expect the rest of the staff to be impacted. We will continue to monitor this situation in close coordination with our local health inspector, Jeff Kennedy, and take all appropriate actions as directed by the latest CDC guidelines.

To date, this is the fourth member of our staff to test positive. We safely navigated the first three cases and all of our efforts are aimed at another positive resolution. Longstanding workplace protocols are always in place to keep our staff and customers safe, but it's an excellent reminder this virus continues to be a constant daily presence in all of our lives.

All shoppers should please remain vigilant about following all possible precautions for entering public spaces like ours, such as shopping alone, wearing a mask, practicing social distancing, making use of the many hand sanitizer stations around the store and taking advantage of our weekday curbside pickup option.

Please direct any questions or concerns to our General Manager, Netse Lytle, at (413) 458-5317 x13 or gm@wildoats.coop
