Co‑op Scoop: Clambake, Employee Recognition, New Deals & More.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Ice Cream Social Fundraiser for the Berkshire County Kids’ Place. We had beautiful weather, great conversations with shoppers, and plenty of make-your-own sundaes to go around. Together, we raised just under $300 in support of their important work with children and families in our community. We’re grateful for everyone who stopped by, and helped make it such a fun summer afternoon.

Weekly Co‑op Scoop: Ice Cream Fun, Events, New Flavors and Deals - fundraiser for kids, eyeglass drop and more‍ ‍

We're ready to scoop again! Our Ice Cream Social has been moved to Saturday, July 25, from 1 - 3 PM, and we're looking forward to make-your-own sundaes, hopscotch, coloring and sweet afternoon in support of the Berkshire County Kids' Place. We’re also sharing a new coloring contest dreamed up by Penny, one of our previous contest winners, along with a few Plastic Free July tips - because reducing waste is an ongoing effort. It’s been a hazy stretch here in Williamstown, with smoky skies giving the summer landscape a different look this week. Even so, the season keeps moving, and there are still plenty of good reasons to gather, connect, and enjoy what’s close to home. Summer is rolling along, and last week Wild Oats had the joy of joining the Williamstown Fourth of July Parade. Several board members walked with carts full of groceries, our co-op banner, and plenty of good energy as the crowd cheered them on. As the Fourth of July approaches, we’re wishing you a safe and meaningful holiday filled with good food, good company, and time to enjoy the community around us. Whether your plans include a cookout, a quiet day, or a walk through town for the parade, we’re glad to be part of the week with you. Looking ahead, we’re also excited for our Ice Cream Social Fundraiser on July 18 - a sweet way to gather and support a local cause.
