Yes, for each Field Day product sold, 5¢ will go to NATIFS! Stock up on staples like rice, pasta, beans and olive oil. Save on tons of spices and herbs, as well as baking essentials including sugar, vanilla and chocolate chips. Find the foods you want for holiday meals, like gravy, pumpkin puree and stuffing mix.
Gathering with family and friends for a Thanksgiving meal is a familiar ritual for many people, and we strive to serve our entire community during this busy time of year. In recognition that the story of the first Thanksgiving perpetuates an inaccurate and harmful version of history, food co-ops across the country are making a collective donation to North American Traditional Indigenous Food Systems (NATIFS) this November.

WHAT IS NATIFS?
North American Traditional Indigenous Food Systems (NATIFS) is a nonprofit organization revitalizing Indigenous foodways to promote health, sovereignty, and economic empowerment in Native communities.
Founded by James Beard Award-winning chef Sean Sherman (The Sioux Chef), NATIFS envisions a reimagined North American food system rooted in ancestral knowledge and Indigenous traditions.
Through its flagship initiative, the Indigenous Food Lab in Minneapolis, NATIFS offers culinary training, education, and business development support to help Native entrepreneurs reclaim and share their food heritage. The organization also operates the Indigenous Food Lab Market, expanding access to Native-made goods and fostering cultural and nutritional revitalization.
Wild Oats is proud to spotlight NATIFS as a leader in food justice and cultural restoration.
Hear directly from Chef Sean Sherman in this video. His message brings NATIFS’ mission to life, reviving Indigenous foodways for health, culture, and community.
