February 2026 Co+op Kids Coloring Contest Winner: Luca

We’re celebrating Luca, our winner of our February Love Your Local Farmers Coloring Contest. Luca is a proud Co+op Explorer, a talented young artist, and a member of a farming family that knows the value of good food and community. His family runs New Leaf Farm in Lebanon, NY, and they’re longtime supporters of the co‑op.

Luca loves to color, so this contest was right up his alley. As a Co+op Explorer, he made sure to grab his favorite snack - a crisp apple from our free co+op explorer fruit stand - before heading off to shop for his prize goodies. Apples and pretzels are his top picks, so of course he made sure those made it into the basket.

As our February winner, Luca went home with a bag full of organic Field Day treats, including veggie straws, pretzels, penne pasta, mac and cheese, granola, and a variety of beans. He and his sibling are also busy filling up their Co+op Explorer punch cards to earn their next activity fun books.

We love celebrating the creativity of our youngest shoppers and the local families who help keep our food system strong. Congratulations, Luca - and thank you to everyone who participated this month. Keep coloring, keep exploring, and keep loving your local farmers.
