Our Grocery department is preparing to launch a new weekday curbside pickup program starting Monday, March 16th. This temporary service is focused on providing access to fresh food for those who are ill or have other health-related concerns, but will be open to all interested customers subject to availability.
Orders received by 6:00 a.m. will be scheduled for pick up in front of the store between noon and 3:00 p.m. that same day. Please email a list of desired items to firstname.lastname@example.org and include a phone number the staff can use to confirm availability, cost and when the order will be ready. A $5 fee will be added to each order, to help us offset the additional staffing required to make this happen, and a credit card charge will be processed by phone.
Curbside pickup service is limited to Monday through Friday during this three-hour window and orders cannot be accepted by phone at this time. All of the store’s other services will continue to be available as usual, including regular shopping hours, self-service cafe items and special orders through our Prepared Foods department.
There are currently several open Board positions to fill. New Board members will be appointed soon to complete the terms of departing members.
If you are interested in serving, please send an email to email@example.com and someone from the Board will contact you for further discussion.
Help lead our co-op into the future!
Like many of our fellow co-ops, we distribute this survey every two years to help us better understand who our customers are, what our store means to them, how well we are (or aren’t) serving them, and their suggestions about where we go from here.
The results are always interesting and incredibly valuable for our staff to read and evaluate. We like to share those results publicly as well, so our General Manager, David, has compiled a PDF summary report that anyone can download and review.
This conversation will continue throughout the coming weeks as we address this feedback across various platforms. In the meantime, if you have anything else you’d like to share about your experience shopping at Wild Oats, please feel free to contact us by phone, email or our Suggestion Box at Customer Service.
