Goodwill Bringing Food To Our Communities - Wild Oats Market Strengthens Local Farms with Goodwill’s Food Delivery Truck
Your spare change can make a big difference at checkout. When you round up for the Fighting Hunger in the Berkshires Initiative, your donation supports Goodwill Industries of the Berkshires and Southern Vermont, Inc. in their effort to pay for a delivery truck that will bring food directly to local pantries. This truck will help distribute up to 9,000 pounds of food in every run, ensuring that our neighbors across Northern Berkshire County don’t go to bed hungry. These donations will go towards deliveries in Northern Berkshires.

Wild Oats Market now offers fast EV charging stations right at the co‑op, giving drivers a convenient place to power up while they shop. Our new chargers operate through the Quick Charge App by IntegraENERGY, making it easy for electric vehicle owners to plug in, charge quickly, and stay on the move. It’s one more way Wild Oats supports sustainable transportation, local community needs, and a more eco‑friendly shopping experience.

Luca, our February Love Your Local Farmers Coloring Contest winner, is a proud Co+op Explorer who loves to color and shop at the co‑op. He picked up his favorite apples and pretzels along with a bag of organic Field Day goodies as part of his prize. Meet Elkano Imports
Elkano Imports, based in Troy, specializes in the import and distribution of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) directly from Córdoba, Spain. The EVOO is produced by a cooperative of about 1,000 small farmers, who bring their olives to the local mill to be pressed. The result is an EVOO that is versatile in the kitchen, and is ideal for dressing, sauteing or even baking. Both 500ml and 250ml options are now for sale at Wild Oats.
Elder Services of Berkshire County, Inc. - Supporting Older Adults Across Our Community
Elder Services of Berkshire County Inc. provides essential support for older adults and their families through in‑home services, long‑term care resources, and community‑based programs across Berkshire County. As the region’s Aging Services Access Point and Area Agency on Aging, Elder Services offers homecare, Meals on Wheels, caregiver support, behavioral health resources, options counseling, and more. The organization is also seeking volunteers for its SHINE program, which helps Medicare‑eligible individuals understand coverage options and navigate Medicare plans. Join us at our Meet & Learn event to discover how Elder Services strengthens the well‑being of older adults and how you can get involved.
