Sunday, March 9, 3-4:30 pm – Learn how to make your own kombucha! It’s easy, we promise. In this class you will not only learn how to make your own kombucha, you will also learn about the many health benefits attributed to this ancient beverage, which in its more than 2,000 year-old history has earned a reputation for helping to prevent and fight cancer, arthritis, and other degenerative diseases. Our teacher is Wild Oats sometimes-staffer and long-time kombucha maker Evan Webb.
Cost: $10, includes jar with SCOBY and kombucha starter tea, for brewing at home. Your SCOBY may be used over and over to brew kombucha.
To register: call Robin at 413-458-8060 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would appreciate your signup by February 23 so we know how many SCOBYs to order.
Please note: this class may end sooner than 4:30 pm; however, we expect it to go at least until 4 pm, and we want to allow time for it to go a little over, plus for any questions.
